Minch Life
Minch Life is a Community Interest Company, company number 13560920.
Its main objectives are to undertake actions which benefit and develop the community of Minchinhampton Town and Parish. This includes organising and running the Minchinhampton Country Fayre, every two years, and carrying out related fundraising to support running the Country Fayre.
In addition to running the Country Fayre, the committee runs occasional community events, such as Street Parties and Minchinhampton Open Gardens.
The web site contains a directory of local businesses and a calendar of local events (split between regular weekly events and ad hoc events). It also produces a monthly Newsletter, highlighting local events and news items which is circulated to subscribers (free) and published on the web site and Facebook page.
The Minch Life facebook page promotes local events, communicate with local people, and raise local issues.
Minch Life is a non-profit organisation, and any surplus funds, after covering Country Fayre costs, are distributed in the form of small grants to local organisations.
